“Innovative” is AVTECH’s ”think tank”, our Research & Development (R&D) business area. Here, we work at the forefront of visionary conceptual development, participating in various R&D projects within the European Commission and EUROCONTROL frameworks, as well as directly with companies and universities in Europe, Australia and in the United States.

We address the issues related to future air traffic operational concepts and the design and validation of the functions needed to bring current systems forward. We have has been internationally acknowledged for our innovations and have received awards from Flight International and Aviation Week, as well as from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
By participating in R&D projects AVTECH assures to keep its state-of-the-art knowledge for application developments as well as ways of bringing concept to operational trials.
