AVTECH Sweden AB has signed an agreement with TUI Airlines covering the Aventus NowCast Full-Flight Wind Uplink service. The two-year service agreement has an expected value of between 1 and 2 million SEK, depending on fleet utilisation. The service has been deployed as part of a trial which started in 2019 and the service start date is retrospective from December 2019.
Under the agreement AVTECH is providing highly accurate and tailored weather uplinks to TUI’s UK, Belgian, Dutch and Swedish airlines, operating a total of 120 aircraft on both short and long-haul flights. The agreement also includes an evaluation of benefits after 6 months.
