AVTECH Sweden AB has signed a subscription agreement with Compass Cargo Airlines for its Aventus flight optimization service. The agreement starts on May 1, 2026, and initially covers the airline’s Boeing 747F fleet.

Aventus delivers high-resolution wind and temperature data directly to the aircraft’s Flight Management Computer, enabling more efficient flight profiles, improved punctuality, and reduced pilot workload. The service is based on advanced meteorological forecasts from the UK Met Office and optimized atmospheric modelling.

Compass Cargo Airlines highlighted improved operational safety, fuel efficiency, and on-time performance as key reasons for selecting Aventus, alongside its contribution to reduced environmental impact.

The agreement has an estimated annual value of SEK 0.1–0.2 million, depending on fleet size and exchange rates.
