(“AVTECH,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit the Company’s Web sites (“Visitors”), individuals who register to subscribe to our newsletters and reports, and individuals who register to attend the Company’s corporate events (“Attendees”). This Privacy Statement describes AVTECH’s privacy practices in relation to the use of the Company’s Web sites and the related applications, services, and programs offered by AVTECH  (collectively, the “Services”), as well as individuals’ choices regarding use, access and correction of personal information.

AVTECH  use cookies to improve the way the sites function for its visitors and to provide the websites with information.
The cookie is a small text file which is stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are saved by the browser on the visitor’s computer in the scope it is specified in settings of the browser of the visitor’s computer, each time, when the visitor visits the website.

Information collected

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services, or subscribing to newsletters and reports, or registering for an event, AVTECH requires you to provide the Company with personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). When registering for an event, AVTECH may also require you to provide the Company with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”). AVTECH may also ask you to provide additional information, such as company annual revenues, number of employees, or industry (“Optional Information”). When Visitors apply for a job with the Company, AVTECH may also require you to submit additional personal information as well as a resumé or curriculum vitae (“Applicant Information”). Required Contact Information, Billing Information, Applicant Information, Optional Information and any other information you submit to AVTECH to or through the Services are referred to collectively as “Data”. 

Information handling

AVTECH does not transfer your data to third party. The “Data” is stored on secured servers and you have the right to be removed from our database as well ask us to make corrections to your data. The “Data” is stored for a period of maximum 26 months, unless it is not removed earlier. You can contact us here to make corrections or ask to be removed.

As you navigate the Company’s Web site, AVTECH may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Company’s Web sites (such as the web pages viewed and the links clicked). Incident management

In accordance with the new regulations, AVTECH will report any intrusions to our servers within 72 hours to Datainspektionen (Swedish authority for IT & Data security) and inform any individuals whose personal data that may have been affected. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us as to your access and use of AVTECH Sweden AB ’s (“AVTECH”) services. The rights and remedies set out in these Terms & Conditions are cumulative and without prejudice to any other accrued rights and remedies, whether under contract, law or otherwise.

If any of these Terms are or become illegal or unenforceable under applicable law, that part that is illegal or unenforceable shall be deemed to be removed from these terms and conditions. The remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

Third-Party Meteorological Data

AVTECH aims to ensure that the content of the Service is accurate and consistent with current scientific meteorological knowledge and practice. However, the science which underlies meteorological forecasts and climate projections is constantly evolving. Therefore, any element of the content of the Services which involves a forecast, or a prediction should not be relied upon as if it were a statement of fact.

AVTECH does not warrant that the service will be fit for the user(s) intended use and the user(s) are responsible for undertaking its own evaluation exercise before choosing to rely upon the content of the Service.

Other than the warranties expressly set out in Terms and/or specified in writing, AVTECH excludes all warranties or representations (expressed or implied) including any in respect of the accuracy, compatibility, performance or fitness for purpose of the Services to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee in any way that our services will remain as it is nor will be available at any particular time.

All our content is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we do not give any representation, warranty or undertaking of any kind in respect of our service or any of our content including, without limitation, any warranty of satisfactory quality, conformity, accuracy, adequacy or fitness for any particular purpose.

Indemnity

You shall indemnify and hold us and our data providers and third-party suppliers harmless against all costs, damages, expenses (including, without limitation, legal expenses) loss and liabilities that arise as a direct or indirect result of any breach of these terms by you, your fault, your negligence or breach of statutory duty.

Limitation of liability

You agree that we are not liable to you for any loss (of whatsoever nature) that you may suffer as a result of your access and use of our services. However, this shall not exclude any liability it is not lawful to exclude (either now or in the future).
